ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist 2005-01-27 - By Jared Still
The most obvious question: Did you start your database?
Next: supply some info to the list, for both client and server.
Os version Oracle version
Can you login to the database from the server?
Etc, etc, etc. Basic troubleshooting steps.
